Returning Slowly
I spent a few days off social media recently, exploring a new town with my husband and some dear friends. We wandered Tucson, taking in a landscape and plant life so different from what we know here in Colorado. There was laughter, incredible food, and the simple joy of being somewhere new.
As I return, I’m also looking ahead with quiet excitement. Later this month, I’ll be wrapping up one six-month Essential Herbalism group and preparing to welcome a new circle beginning January 18. It’s always meaningful to witness women grow in confidence as they deepen their relationship with the plants.
One student recently shared:
“It’s just the right blend of online modules and in-person training. Kirsten has a very warm and welcoming presence that beckons you to learn and grow in the ways of herbal medicine. My family, friends, and I have greatly benefitted from everything I’ve learned. It’s so much fun every month to grow in knowledge of natural ways to heal myself and others.”
This reflection captures the heart of how I love to teach — learning that is supported, relational, and woven into everyday life. If you’ve been curious about herbalism and are longing for a deeper, more grounded way to learn, the next Essential Herbalism Foundations & Medicine Making Circles begin on January 18, 2026, and there is still room for a few more women to join us.
I continue to offer one-on-one herbal consultations and Maya Abdominal Therapy for women seeking personalized, seasonal support. If you’re curious about working together, you’re welcome to reach out to schedule a free 10-minute discovery call.
Thank you for being here and for reading. May this season offer you permission to move gently, listen deeply, and trust what is beginning to take root.
